The 1.6 Guarantee
Five years, or until your tyre is legally finished at 1.6mm.
Whichever comes first.
1.6mm is the legal minimum tread depth in South Africa. So this covers punctures in the treated tread for as long as that tyre is legally allowed to be on your car — five years, or 1.6mm, whichever comes first.

Read the second half first.
Most guarantees hide what they don't cover. Ours is printed at the same size as what it does, on the same page, and we'll walk you through it before you pay.
- Sidewall or bead damage
- Cuts
- Impact and curb damage
- Failures caused by under-inflation, overloading, misalignment or other mechanical defects
- Tyres repaired, re-treaded or altered after we treated them
- Anything outside the treated tread area
And plainly: this treatment does not make your tyres indestructible, and it is not a substitute for proper tyre care, maintenance or regular inspections. That sentence is on our own certificate. It's staying there.
No cash refunds, except where the Consumer Protection Act requires them. We're telling you that now, not in eight-point type on the back.
Punctures occurring within the treated tread area of every tyre we treat, forfive (5) years from the date of application, or until your tyre reaches the legal minimum tread depth of 1.6mm — whichever occurs first.
◆ A signed Fitment Certificate with every jobThis is what you leave with
Every fitment is written up on a signed Fitment Certificate — your tyre sizes, tread depths, manufacture dates and the technician who did the work. It carries the legal tread-depth guarantee seal, and it's the document you present if you ever claim. Keep it in the glovebox.
We're members of MIBCO, the RMI and the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa — their marks are on the certificate too.

What happens if you claim
- 01
WhatsApp us as soon as it happens, on 076 089 4066. A photo of your tyre helps us tell you straight away whether it's likely to be covered.
- 02
Bring the vehicle in, with your Fitment Certificate. That certificate is the claims document — keep it in the glovebox rather than a drawer at home.
- 03
We may inspect your tyre to verify the cause before we settle — including when the answer counts against us. That's how the guarantee stays honest for everyone who holds one.
- 04
If the claim is valid we either reapply the Nano Polymer free of charge, or repair or replace your tyre pro-rata on remaining tread — at our discretion.
What "pro-rata" actually means
Pro-rata means we cover a share of the replacement based on the tread you had left, and you carry the balance. Bring us your tread depth and we'll do the sum in front of you — before you commit to anything.
[ WORKED EXAMPLE — treated at 8mm, failed at 4mm → Rev covers X% of a replacement at your size, you carry the balance = R____ ]
Pending the tyre-size price sheet. Our liability is limited to the remedies above; we are not liable for consequential or indirect losses such as vehicle downtime, towing or other expenses related to tyre failure.None of this affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.
We'll show you the exclusions before you pay us
